Urban Beauty United: Mini-Me Tweezers

As the first official post from Rojo Dynasty in what seems like DECADES (its only been a few months people! like 9), I have finally found some treats which are worth sharing and buzzing about! This posts starts out rather sad and tragically and came by pure accident really. The background is that a few months ago, upon one of my insane weekends, Myself and a Friend went on a shopping expedition. Because our scandal had commenced the previous evening there was no shortage of over night bags in the boot of her car, the contents of which were mine.

After a rather stylish day harassing the racks of clothes and pondering the look and intention of various shelves filled with accessories, we returned to the car only to discover that the once bountiful boot was now stripped bare... My overnight just-incase outfits, my entire make-up collection, as well as my largest bottle of D&G light blue, had all disappeared into the dark unoccupied crevices of the undercover parking lot. My heart sank, tears rolled. kleenex could possibly have experienced a rise in their stocks! My face paint was all gone :(

But as any trooper would tell you, you live to fight another day and thus my search for new products and tools ensued! Due to financial constraint of any dime-busting diva (as most of us girls are) cost and utility are ALWAYS ALWAYS important features when compiling and prioritizing items on my budget! replacing brushes & all my make up and skincare (not to mention the clothes which sustained collateral damage) would be an expensive task so when i started snooping around and investigating which products I can invest in and which ones i can find suitable "Dupes" for I came across this cute set of miniature tweezers by Urban Beauty United, aka: UBU.

I found this range of beauty tools at clicks and haven't seen them in any other store as yet. The entire range is reasonable priced with tons of brushes, value packs, sponges & eyelash curlers to choose from. In the miniature set there are four tweezers, literally half the size of the average tweezer you would normally find so perfect for chucking into your beauty bag as they wont take up space. I measured mine and they came in at round about 3cm. There are four tweezers in a set with each one having a different tip to cater for your various tweezing needs. You get the slant tip, flat, pointed as well as a combination tipped tweezer. WHAT MORE COULD  A GIRL ASK FOR???

When using the tweezers it took a few minutes to adjust to the smaller size but made it so much easier to reach smaller hairs without blocking the light and best of all: without fear of pinching yourself while tweezing! The latter being most crucial for those of us whose questioning arches were not naturally formed or gifted in the genetic lottery.

I love my UBU mini tweezers and I think the Price was phenomenal! R100 for all four is a definite bargain especially since each tip allows you to clean up brows and pinch out those pesky hairs for a clean and sharp looking brow. I definitely recommend these to all you busy women out there who need something on the go and which wont take up space you could have saved for your fave Lippi...
